Hi,
I have replace the front page video with still image and it keeps appearing on every single page. How do I make sure it appears only on the front page?
Additionally, can I include similar stuff as slide-shows for 5 different landing pages?

Thank you

The demo uses Widget Context to enable/disable widgets on specific sections of the site.  If you installed the shaper, you should already have it; if not, I highly recommend installing it.

Once you have Widget Context installed, a new section will be added to the admin of each widget, allowing you to show or hide the widget based on settings you define.  You can have different versions of a widget on different pages of the site by setting each version of the widget to only show on the page that you want it to appear on.

Please remember to always post a link to your site, so I can see what you're talking about and inspect the code with Firebug if you're having any issues that I need to diagnose.

Thank you for the help.I have tried working with "widget context" earlier, but it didn't help, therefore I installed "conditional widgets" plugin, where I can set the visibility of the individual Page other than just selecting "Page" in widget context.

When I use conditional option in "custom 1" widget, only the text get disappeared, not the whole image in other pages. It happened same with "Widget context" too.

I was working in local host, therefore couldn't post the working website but now here its online www.socialtours.com/etpdemo/

Thanks

Whatever method you're using isn't fully disabling the widget.  The theme still thinks that there is active content located in Custom 1, which is why the image is showing up.

The only widget selection plugin that I've found to work correctly in a way that causes the positions to fully collapse is Widget Context.  You can still hide on a per-page basis with Widget Context by using the URL detection method instead of just checking "Page" in the list of generic options.  If you only want the widget to show on the home page, you can set it to "Show widget on selected" + "Front Page", and it will only appear on the home page of the site.  If you only want it to show on a specific destination page, you can use the same method, but instead of selecting "Front Page", use the "Target by URL" box, and enter something like "*destinations/nepal*" or "*destinations/the-gambia*".
