Hi, I love shape_5 . I have used it for a while. I tried to migrate a saved copy of my site to a new server and it is all crazy. I reinstalled joomla and added the newest vertex. I was able to get some of my custom look back but the main article body is covering the entire middle and the template editor has sad faces. how can I hide the main article area and just have my modules laid out in vertex rows again?

Hello,

You can hide the component output area on any page from the Main/Layout page in the template configuration under the "Hide Component Output" field in the middle of the page.

Hello,

Hi Mike,

Think I need your help.
On my site (I am using the Prestige Academy template) the text "HOME" is showing in the middle.
I have discovered that this is related to the S5_columns_wrap.
I believe (hope) that this can be solved by hiding the component output area on the home page.
Now I found this "Hide Component output" filed in the template configuration but there is no tag where I can actually "add" the page where i want this to be excluded.
Nothing is happinging when I select the particular page with my cursor.
Can this be a bug?

Another option might be to delete this from the php/html section, which file do I have to amend?

Pleased to hear.

Hello,

The "home" text is the page title. All you would need to do is select that menu item in the Hide Component Output field and save the configuration. The component area will hide on any page you select in that field.
