How would I go about replicating the background images on the Eventfull Atheletic demo site. Specifically, I would like to have a parallax background image but, I would also like a semi-transparent overlay of a solid color. This is very similar to the What? page on the demo mentioned above.

This can be done in a photo editing program like Photoshop or a free sourced one like Gimp. You would need to create 2 layers in the program. The first is your actual image and the second would be a solid color that would be the top most layer. Then you can adjust the opacity on this solid color layer to allow the image to show through it in the background (your first layer).
