Hi
I had changed the default favicon when testing the site in a subdirectory and it has displayed correct.
next I moved the site to root (same domain). Now displayed the default (s5) favicon (even though the icon is minet /public_html/wp-content/themes/s5_samba_spa/)

thanks

I would need to see the site to have any idea what might be happening.

Please remember to always post a link to your site when having issues with something on the front-end; I can't even begin to diagnose the cause of a problem if I can't see what's happening and inspect the code with Firebug.

The site you linked to is showing a custom favicon for me.  You may just need to update your browser cache.

It shows your favicon in both Chrome and Firefox for me, so it's almost definitely a browser cache issue.

You can use [ctrl]+[shift]+[del] to get a "clear cache" tool in Chrome, which will let you force everything to clear.
