I'm running a Joomla 3.7.1 site using php 7, and discover it's not possible to edit the Vertex/template settings anymore.
I tried to patch Vertex 4.0 - this didn't help.
Can I uninstall/reinstall the Risen Hope template without loosing existing settings in the template?
Any other ideas how to fix this?

Kind regards
Olav

Hello,

We are currently running Vertex 4.1, not 4.0. Are you on the current version? You can uninstall and reinstall, and keep of copy of vertex.json (that's where your settings are stored). I doubt that will solve anything though, you most likely either have a third party extension interfering or it's not running the latest Vertex files.

Same problem.  Running Vertex 3.6. Upgraded to 4.1 on development site, no change.  Not sure when it happened, but have not added any new extensions in over a year.  Any ideas of where to look?

I followed Mike's suggestions. Installed a Shape5 template, disabled and unininstalled Risen Hope. Installed the current version of Risen Hope, set as default and restored the backed up json- file, and site nearly worked normal. Some modules "dissappeared" and custom logo got lost.

Good luck, SNEADM!

Hello,

I would suggest reinstalling the template then as fossa suggested. You can make a back up of the template by copying its entire folder via ftp first if you wish.

Thank-you, that worked.
