Hello support. I've come across an issue and it's driving me mad.  Right now using the Business Pro template my site works fine but I can't access the backend template editor. I know it's because I need to upgrade vertex from 4 to 4.1. When I upgrade, the backend works fine but the front then gives me an error, Template XML file not found.

Any suggestions on how to make this work again?

Hello,

There is nothing in the Vertex update that will involve the template's xml file. Please be sure you uploading the files via ftp exactly as shown in the tutorial here:

Thank you for that reply.  Based on other replies you've given to other people in various forums, I've double and triple checked to make sure i"m doing this right.  I have roughly 15 sites with different shape5 templates and all of them upgraded just fine using the method in the link you provided.  This one site however, does not work.  Any other suggestions?

Hello,

I was able to get into your ftp and patched the site with no issues. Your site is now running 4.1.0.

How did you patch the site?  What was different than following the directions from the previous link you sent to patch?

Hello,

I patched it exactly as explained in the tutorial. I extracted the files locally, and uploaded them via ftp your site over-writing the existing files. That is all that is needed.
