I have created a custom menu and have positioned it in the "left" and to show only on "selected posts" What I notice is that it only appears when I make my window on the screen very narrow like 25% of the width and in the full screen mode it will show the post moved to the left but will not show the custom menu that i placed in the left position.

You can observe the behavior at http://ashakiran.com/Jul2017/history/

It does not seem to matter if i use a different widget like text, or put it on the right the same behavior repeats.

I have upgraded to the latest version of Vertex.

It looks like you have the left column set to be hidden on tablet screen sizes.  That setting is configured on the "Main -> Responsive Layout" tab of the theme options.

I have un checked anythinng to do with left in the main responsive but the problem still remains and you can view it at http://ashakiran.com/Jul2017/history

Also, I have tested this on multiple screens and devices yet the problem remains on all of them.

No matter which widget I place in the left/left inset/left top or the right/right inset/right top it exhibits the same behavior. Please let me know how to fix this.

It looks like some of the CSS that makes it responsive may be pushing the column off the side of the screen.  It's there, and it's visible, but it's located so far left that it doesn't actually show in the browser window.

If you can PM me with FTP access details and WP login information, I'll have one of the designers take a look at the CSS and try to adjust it so it works the way it's supposed to.  The sooner you can get me the info, the sooner I can have him look at it, but it still might be a day or two before I get a response or a solution.

The problem should be solved.  I updated the content.php file in the theme folder with one from the most recent release.  It appears that there was some HTML that wasn't quite right.  I've also updated all the downloads to prevent the problem from happening in the future.
