Is there any way to edit custom.css from the Joomla Administrator backend?
I've been manually doing it from the File Manager through cPanel for most of my sites, but I was wondering if there was an easier way?

If not, is that something that can be added as a plugin / extension / template feature in future Vertex versions?

Hello,

You can edit any template file from the Joomla template maanager, just be sure you are on the template tab and not the styles tab. Once you're on the templates tab just click on the Details and Files link next to the template's name.

Well, isn't that neat.

Can you have that page open separately to make edits while having another page open, to say the edit page for a custom module, w/ out having any save/close issues?

Hello,

I am not quite sure what you mean, you should be able to open that page by right clicking and opening in a new tab without any issues.

Hello,

Editors should just pick up editor.css automatically; there is nothing more to do than that. Please note we no longer provide support for Joomla 1.5.
