So its not just when updating to Wordpress 4.8, I left it intact, just updated some of my plugins and all images just vanished from S5Image and Content Fader

Any solution for that?

Can I backup some of the files before and than after updating upload them again?

Please help

Can you provide a link to your site so I can see what's happening?

The only way updating WP would cause an issue with the plugin would be if you were using a really old version of the plugin and it was updated at the same time as WP.  If that is the case, it is possible that the plugin was just deactivated & will work fine if you activate it again.

Without more details about exactly what happened, that's the only suggestion I can make.
