Hi am not a developer by any means,  I just trying to get a site going and have spent a lot of time trying to figure-out things on my own, please help.

I am trying to have the s5 image slider on my main articles and after dealing with a bunch of other issues I got it to work only as described above.

only one slide is showing (and two intro text?)
in the module I have set the heigth 225  and width 1125,   (my images are 225 x 225 )

I even put some custom scs in the code but still nothing changed.

this is my url (please let me know asap to take the site offline)

http://themwhr.com/index.php/2012-04-10-18-56-53

this the modified code added to the article

<p style="text-align: center, width: 1125px !important; height: auto; margin-right: 29px !important;">{loadmodule mod_s5_imageslide,S5 Image Slide Carpentry} </p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> </p>

and this is how I inserted the module in my article

{loadmodule mod_s5_imageslide,S5 Image Slide Carpentry}

Thank you so much in advance

Greg

Hey Greg,

I'm not sure what you mean by only one slide is showing? I see a bunch of the images rotating through. Also not sure what you mean on intro text? If you are trying to add 2 copies of the module in one article this will not work. Only 1 copy can work per page. If you want something with similar effects but allows for multiple on a page I'd recommend using our S5 Tab show module.

Hi Jonahh,

What I mean by only one image showing "at a time" as you can see there is only one image displayed at any given time.  I chose this module because I liked the way it look in its demo page (see attached pic) which is, several pics showing at the same time and, as I hope, "sliding" to one side and other pics coming into view. Since the demo site doesn't  show the slider in action (only an image of it) now I am not sure what to think about this image slider.

as per the intro text, in the module settings configuration there is a field that says "Pre Text"  sorry I called it "intro text", y typed there:

Some examples, take a look...
That text is showing twice, ones on the top of the image and again at the bottom of the image

I am not trying to have two copies of the module in the same article but I made a copy of the module before I started working on it.

I hope this helps you

Oh ok, there are 2 modes for the modules. Image and then module. The screenshot you are showing is depicting the module mode where you publish images to a custom HTML module which then gets assigned to the positions "imageslide_1, imageslide_2, etc"

Right, I have the module setting to "Image", I I select "module" nothing comes up except the pre text.
By trying to find unswears on my own,  I found that that is/was a common issue for other users.
I very much like this module because among other thins, I could  assign links to the images unlike with s5 tab show.
Is there any other information about my settings that may help you?

Did you publish modules to:

Quote
custom HTML module which then gets assigned to the positions "imageslide_1, imageslide_2, etc"

nothing will show unless you have modules assigned to these positions
