Hi, there

I renewed my subscription because it appeared that Shape5 was now creating active module positions in the menu strip for login and search modules. I thought this because these module positions were not greyed out in the graphic showing the module positions - n the Creative Agency template for example. But when I try to add a login module of my own there I get the shape 5 register module instead.

Are these module positions really available in the menu strip and if so how do I access them. If not can you tell me which of your templates do allow login/register and search modules in the menu strip?

Thanks

Hello,

They are positions that are activated with S5 Box. So the text for "login" and "register" can be changed to whatever you want them to say but in the end they will only popup a module position in the S5 Box window.

OK  , so they are only active in the sense that the text can be changed. They are not real module positions like the others in the template in which actual modules can be placed. Normally when this is the case Shape5 shows such positions in grey on the module positions page of the template demo. But in this case that was not done, which is  misleading. Do you have any templates where these locations are real active module positions.

They are not real positions in the sense that they don't use S5 Box.

But there is a "language" position up there. You can publish modules to the language position for this template and it will show in the menu bar.

Do you have any templates with two fully functioning module positions on the menu strip.

Off hand I can't of any. We usually always layout the menu similar to this template and optimized for responsive. With 2 positions up there responsive code we need to be added by the user as the horizontal space is quite small due to the menu, login, register, and sometimes logo on the same horizontal plane.
