Hi Shape5.

There is a problem with the template showing on mobiles
When initially loaded, the homepage looks ok, but you can scroll the page to the left and there is just white space on the right side of the template.

how can we solve this?

http://mothersinc.co.uk/demo

(I have updated vertex and using the latest joomla.)

Hello,

Just add the following to your custom.css file:

Code:
@media screen and (max-width: 1100px){

#s5_top_row1_area1 .s5_tab_show_outer2 {
    overflow: hidden !important;}

}

Hi Johna

The code you suggested did not rectify the problem.

I took a look but I don't see it on your site? Did you place it in the custom.css file?

Hi Jonah

I am a bit puzzled as the problem is not fixed.
The white space on the riht side of the screen is still present on mobiles. Use your mobile and check.

The problem is related to the S5 Image and Contenet fader, I just know disabled this module and the problem disappears.

I'm sorry, totally misunderstood you. So I do see the issue. If you noticed this is fixed on our demo. I can't remember the fix now but if you grab a fresh template copy and reinstall along with the Image and Content fader and reinstall it should fix this issue. Your current image and content fader is v3 and we have v4 out now too.

Hi Jonah
I cannot find this module with the latest version you suggested.  I have seen an extension labelled as Photo Showcase v2.
Can you provide with a link please.

I have installed the latest template version as you suggested. While viewing on a mobile phone, if i try to move the site to the left to see if the white space will occur, the menu is now activated instead.

Sure here it is:

Let me know if you still have issues after updating and clearing browser cache. Thanks

Hi Jonah

Sorry for the delay in responding to your last post, (we had hosting problems). The version on mobiles is still not working properly.
When one is scrolling, if your finger/thumb moves slightly horizontally across the screen, the menu is activated.

I am sure this is a minor tweek in the css.

I await your solution.

If you install the latest version of the Vertex framework this will fix this issue. It was a feature we implemented but then removed as it was way to easy to accidentally activate that menu as you are experiencing Smiley

Hi Jonahh

I installed a new version of the template back in December; are you saying there has been a new edition since then?

Yes, the framework gets updated frequently (Vertex not the template). Even if it says you have the latest version do the FTP route and overwrite your files and clear browser cache.
