I'm getting the following error when attempting to save changes on the "Top Boxes" module.

"You don't have permission to access /administrator/index.php on this server."

I've test edited other modules and I am able to save changes no problem. Other S5 modules can be edited and saved as well.

Folder Permissions in Joomla are all writable. Everything seems to be configured correctly.

Folder permissions for /administrator are 755.  Permissions for /administrator/index.php are 664.

I used the site shaper install package for Game World Club and have not done any updates. There were no errors during install.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

That is a permissions issue on your server, it is not related to the template or the module. You would need to contact your host to determine the permissions problems on the administrator folder.

Unusual because this account can access the index.php file. It can edit the index.php file.  I can modify any other modules in joomla without trouble.

This is on a dedicated server. I am the administrator. Problem exists even when account is given root access.

If you wouldn't mind could you let me know what the permissions should be?

Hello,

Again, there's nothing in a module or template that could ever cause these issues. That error is directly related to your server; that is not something we can debug. All files on your server should be set to 644 and folders to 755.
