I would like to replace the magnifying glass icon with a button that calls a menu item, to do so I created a menu and integrated it into a custom module, but now I do not know how to replace the icon with my module

Hello,

That would require custom programming to do this. That area is designed only to be a link to open the search popup. You would need to modify that area and insert a custom module position - we do not provide modification services like this as part of our support.
