Why reinvent the wheel here? I have a basic site with a captcha setup, been setup for about a year now. No issues except for the captcha - it works fine but, I am not convinced it is actually preventing malicious/automated registrations.

Is there a specific reason that you don't integrate with the built in Captcha setup? And also, why can we not utilize our own setup (like reCaptcha instead). There are always improvements and by now, the plain text version just isn't working.

Can we get this component integrated with the already existing captcha plugin? That will make everyones life simpler, no extra server installs, one place key/secret key management, and a much more trusted and maintained captcha setup (since nothing is perfect anymore).

Hello,

What do you mean the plain text is not working anymore, are you getting spam via the module now?

Yes, I am. Quite a bit of it actually. I typically get about 5-6 registrations a day, all very clearly a bot and also very clearly the same general source. After a while of this, I looked into it a bit and noticed the captcha didn't change sometimes when I loaded the page, even across browsers and/or sessions.
