Hello I updated my web site this morning to Joomla version 3.8.3.

When the update was finished i noticed my main menu disapered.

So i instaled vertex updater.

But when i go on components and click ont s5 vertex updater the page is blank.

Can someone help me.

Hi.

I have the same problem with the Vertex Updater.
It shows only a blank site.

I too am having the same issue. Ran the update on another site a few days ago and everything worked perfectly. After installing the patch on this other site today, I'm just seeing a blank page.

Any update on this issues?

Hello,

Is the component loading blank or your website is loading blank? If the website is blank you have a php error coming from a third party extension - you would need to disable all third party extensions to see which is causing the problem. If it's the component, please private message me super admin access and ftp access so we can debug.

Hey Mike, no the website was loading just fine. The Vertex component was blank. However, I went back to my other computer where I had downloaded the component about a week or so ago that had worked previously and used that copy. After installing that extension, the Vertex Component loaded just fine and I was able to update with no issue. I compared the old ZIP file to the one on shape5.com now and they are clearly to different files (see screenshot). Anyway, I guess the latest update broke it. I've attached the good copy I had here if anyone needs it. Hope this helps!

Hello,

We did make an update the other day to include a second check method. I'll dig into this a little bit more and see if we can find what's causing this. I have login from another user with the same problem, so we'll just use that for debugging.
