Hello,

After installing this template, I tried updating to the latest version of Joomla! but the process was stalled with an error message that says, "Ajax error".

How can I go-ahead to update the Joomla version?

Hello,

The template doesn't control any part of the Joomla update process, that is entirely handled by Joomla itself. An ajax error could have to do with the browser, so I would suggest trying from another browser first.

I tried another browser. Same result.
Error on page: the backend is entirely a white page.
Could it not be because of an extension in the template?

Hello,

There is no such thing as a template extension. A template only loads files on the server and the only place in the admin that the files are called are on the template configuration screen.

If you have an entirely white page and you're getting this error, then you have a problem with your Joomla installation - the template has no way to effect any of that. We cannot debug a Joomla problem, our support is for our products. Is this a new installation of an older installation?

Hello,

If it's brand new I would recommend reinstalling completely using the site shaper. It's possible that something didn't install properly when you setup the site. Or at least try the site shaper in a sub folder on your site and see if that upgrades. If it does then there is something wrong with your original installation. If it doesn't then there is most likely a configuration issue on your server.
