Hello guys,

I have issue with my website. How to make S5 Masonry show intro text? Now only article name is showed and that's all. I need article name and intro text. (Is it possible to make article name show before mouse hover? I mean at mouse point only background colour change and intro text appear, but article name show all the time even if not at mouse point? I am using Arthur template.

I add some screenshots:

(default) - how it looks now.
(supposed) - how it supposed to be.

Thanks in advance for help.

Hello,

This template is not designed to show intro text, but you can enable it in the masonry module's backend.

"Is it possible to make article name show before mouse hover?"

----It was designed to show on hover. We do not provide modification services as part of our support.

1. At S5Masonry backend "Show intro text?" I already made "Yes", it's still doesn't work, I just want to have same result as in Arthur template demo. Now I only got article title without intro text. Could you help me to solve this?
2. I updated Joomla today and now have problems with S5Masonry. When I try to click on any article title using Masonry module it doesn't redirect me to article information page. After click it's only refreshing. What is your suggestion for fixing this?

Waiting forward for your reply,
Thank you.

Hello,

Please post a url to your site.

1. All that is needed is to turn this setting on in the module's backend. Are you positive the articles you have selected have intro text set?

2. Upgrading Joomla would not cause this. I will need see the site live to see what is going on.

Hello,

You enabled the setting "Optional Article Height" and set it to 50. That means the article area can never be taller than that and it was cutting off the text. I removed your input and now the text shows.

Hello,

One more question, how to fix that issue with article redirect? When I press on article title it doesn't redirect to article. Before Joomla update everything was ok.

When I use older version of Joomla everything is working fine, if I update Joomla than this issue occurs. Can you tell me what is the solution for this issue?

Thank you

Hello,

Upgrading Joomla would not have caused this. This is the default way that Joomla has always worked. You need to have a menu item that points to the category of those articles, and on that menu item don't publish any modules. By not having this Joomla has no way to apply a page layout so it takes on the layout of the homepage. The site shaper comes with this by default but you have either deleted that menu item, or changed the category that the articles are published to.
