Hi Tristan,

Again, thank you so much! I'll try to figure the mailchimp translation with a developer and let you know the results, if there are any positive ;-)

Now some -hopefully last questions
:

0) I am getting a debug error message in internet explorer which looks like this:

1) I was able to change translation of "read more" , however only the link, not the button (see my red markings for which translation is still missing).

As I am doing the site for a very small NPO I do not want to use a translation plugin, as it will cost and the site will only be in German, so it's just a one-time change.

The other thing on the blog page is that comments are deactivated in frontend, although the option to comment is enabled within backend. Do you have any idea why this could be the case?

2)Startpage blog entrys are somehow not shown correctly (picture of second blog post is only shown by mouseover). Also the "load more" button would need to be translated.

https://picload.org/view/dooairpr/loadmore.jpg.html

It would also be great to translate "All"

3) How can I remove the credits entry regarding shape 5 and wordpress in the footer?

The prev/next on the slides is something that can be enabled and disabled in on the "Specific" tab of the theme options.  Unfortunately, I believe that to change the actual text would require editing javascript, but if you disable the text, it will restore the default arrows, which should look fine.

The countdown is also a setting on the "Specific" tab of the theme options.

The text related to the content is most likely located in either the "theme-globals.php" file or the "content.php" file.  You may also be able to use a translation plugin, so you don't have to edit any files.  The translation key is either "Vertex" or "vertex".

I believe that the error message for the MailChimp signup is something in the javascript that interacts with the MailChimp API; there are currently no settings that can change that.

I'll have to forward your post to one of the other developers for the Masonry stuff, I haven't worked with the Javascript for Masonry.

The home page post display is actually a Masonry widget, so you may be able to look at the widget settings to see about changing the text;  I'm not sure about the issue with the image not loading, that may be caused by the Javascript error.

The "Read More" button under posts is located in the content.php file, a few lines above the "Posted in" and "Tagged" text; near line 80.

As far as the comments being disabled; they are probably disabled on the actual post.  There's a setting in WordPress that allows you to have each post disable comments after a certain number of days; generally for the demos that number is very low, so we don't get spam on the demo sites.  You'll want to check the general comment settings to make sure comments aren't disabled too quickly or filtered too much, and then if you want to enable them on all existing posts, you should be able to go to the post list, select all, then enable comments from the "bulk" actions.

The footer can be replaced by putting a widget in the "Footer" position.  If you just want to remove the default footer, a blank widget can be used.

According to the information that I was given, the missing image from the second masonry post is an intentional feature of the theme; it is designed to switch between an image and a solid color for alternating posts - there should be some CSS controlling it.

The "Load More" text and any other text in Masonry is pulled from a file in the "language" sub-folder of the widget, you should be able to translate things in that file.

For the error in Internet Exploder, is Masonry failing to work correctly?  If everything is still functioning as it is supposed to, then the error shouldn't matter.  IE has been discontinued, so it may be possible that it just isn't capable of doing some things.
