Hello,

Yesterday I updated Joomla. Got the menu disappearing thing so I updated the template Spectrum.
Vertex is all up to date.
Menu is showing fine.

But the " Our team" page, which has each employee as an article, is multiplying the title on each article.

When I clear cache is back to normal but every time i refresh the page, the title for each article triples.

Please help!!!

Hello,

I am looking at your site and they are only sowing once. Also, there is nothing in a template that would control this, that output is entirely handled by Joomla.

This is happening every time I refresh the page.

Any way you could point me on the right direction?

I just got a reply from the Joomla forum and they said it has something to do with the vertex.

It is not the title that is being duplicated, it is the caption under the picture. You have to refresh the page to see it happening.

Please I really need help with this. It only happened after I updated the template.

Please help.

Hello,

I'm sorry I don't know why they would tell you it is related to Vertex; it definitely is not. The template does not control any part of the output of Joomla's content - it only stylizes it. The template just uses the following call to output the component/article area:

<jdoc:include type="message" />
<jdoc:include type="component" />

That's a default Joomla call, and then Joomla actually does the output.

The only way a template could interfere with this is if it included a com_content override; which is what actually outputs the text. Our templates do not contain any overrides, so the entire output is handled by Joomla. If you have created one that could cause a problem, you can check in the template's html folder and see if you have a com_content folder in there; if you do that was not created by us.

I wish I could tell you what is causing this, but it's not our template or Vertex. Is it only happening on that one page? If so, that would indicate something wrong with the content on that page. I would suggest setting up a similar test page and see if the problem exists there as well, and if it doesn't just recreate that page.
