So if i understand what i have read correctly i went into the module S5_Tab5 and added the code for the facebook page.
I also want to do the same for the FB link on the main page bottom row.

But when i did so the font changed and so did the spacing. Wondering if i can control that at all and where if its a CSS file.

I've attached an image of what i see using the inspect option in chrome.

It looks normal in the editor but not in the browser. www.quintenmoulson.com

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I recommend not using an editor. It can move code around and strip it on saving. I'm not sure if thats what happened or not but you can see from my attached image the difference in the code. The Facebook text has its on <a> and is outside of the icon HTML. Compare this so the Twitter one:

Awesome thanks!!!!

I deleted it and started again using the editor and its properly formatted.

Unfortunately it just shows up as a link now i've lost the formatting it had originally.

I'd like to restore my hover color, text format and remove the underline.
I see i can reinsert the facebook social icon under formats but not sure about the hover and making it not appear as a standard html link.
i tried icon_hover but that's not it. I don't see the option for changing the hover color in the menu.

css formatting perhaps?

Still getting used to this editor.

thanks

The code needs to look like this then:

Code:
<a class="social_icon ion-social-facebook"><span>Facebook</span></a>

<a class="social_icon ion-social-twitter"><span>Twitter</span></a>

You have it wrapped in spans and not hyperlinks.
