I make it through the beginning of the process and then it freezes at what appears to be about 50%. There isn't a declaration of what is happening when it hangs. I can install joomla 3.8.7 and install the template, but not the siteshaper.

Which version of PHP and MySQL is your WAMP running?

php 5.6.25
mysql  5.7.14

I also tried php 7.0.10, same issue.

I'm going to try another template's siteshaper and see if it works.

Ok I do see this issue and experience the same thing locally. It actually seems to hang and then revert back to the last step eventually for me..

What was the other Site Shaper that you tried?

I tried the newsblog and the same thing happened. Haven't tried others.

Ok thanks same here and also when I just tried Hexa Corp I get the same issue. We are looking into this.

Ok it looks like on newer version of WAMP this isn't an issue. Try running at least version 3.1.0

And also be sure to be running:

SQL 5.7.19
PHP 7.1.9
