Hello,

The Excerpt is not working on the S5 Masonry Widget that I am using on a Site Shaper of the theme Legal Lawyer. Wordpress is recognizing the excerpts, but the Widget is not. The link to my site is: www.bergenchristian.org

Thanks!

What method are you using to create the excerpt?  The WP version of the plugin uses the pre-defined excerpt that is entered separately in the post editor.  If you're not seeing the place to enter the excerpt, you may need to enable it in the "Screen Options" dropdown (button in the top right corner of the post editor).

I include the excerpt through the button, and it did not show up on the home page. Afterwards, I tried to manually code in the excerpt, and it still does not work. Wordpress is recognizing the excerpt on the "Excerpt View" but it isn't showing up on the widget. I don't think the widget is recognizing the excerpt code.

Thanks!

Masonry can only use the manual excerpt method, not the inline code.

As I said above, you need to enable the manual excerpt editor in "Screen Options", and add that separately from the actual post content.

It works perfectly. I was originally looking in the wrong spot. Thank you very much!
