Author Topic: Why does my shop not display in IE6?  (Read 802 times)

I have this - new - weard thing now that my shop does not display in IE6 (in the middle) . And only after I log in. Before logging in it is fine. It does fine in FF.

Any ideas? Solution?

Jos,

I imagine that the main body is getting pushed down once you log in and view in IE6?  If this is happening there is most likely a table or image that is just too wide for IE6 and thus can't fit so the main body gets pushed down below the right column.

This is not the case (have had that before). It has always worked fine until I tried today.....

Hello Jos,

Could you try unpublishing the Newsletter component.  Once you login the button  "Edit Subscription" that appears is quite long and I believe this is what is causing the main body to be thrown down below the right column in IE6.

Let me know if this doesn't fix the problem.

I will change the text on the button in the newslettercomponent subscription module. I'll see what that does. That will let you test too.

I will also unpublish the module and see what that does.

I did change the text and that solves my problem. I hate these browser differences. It took me 6 months to iron them all out.
