When i acces my website from IE 7 the extension works fine in both joomla and virtuemart frontends. But when i enter a product page it hits me with an "Operation aborted error"

Works perfect on joomla

Still works when i enter virtuemart section of the site

On specific product page it gives me this error

I am using Joomla 1.5.10 and virtuemart 1.1.3. I must note that i get this error only on internet explorer. It was stil there, even after after applying the Chrome bug patch... and that didn't influence it at all.

I tested the bug from several computers including windows XP and Vista. They all had the problem.

If any admin or tech wise user wants to test this... i moved the whole site to http://piscine.cumperi.net ...a temporary domain and password protected the directory (to stop google robots) with the user: demo and password: demo

Hello, I checked your site on 2 machines in IE and I did not receive any errors. Is there a particular order or particular item that needs to be added?

I have absolutley no idea why you can't replicate the error... it happens whenever i click on any product's details (the flypage).

I double checked again 5 minutes ago... used all of the computers in the company this time, and all of them showed the same simptoms.

The only thing similar would be the internet connection... as the computers have different configurations and versions of Windows (xp or vista).

IE's configuration is the default one on every computer.

Likewise - The IE Operation Aborted issue is killing me.

After much forum trawling - as you probably know its Microsoft acknowledged bug in pre IE 8 browsers that the loading order of certain scripts  trigger the error.

I've pinpointed the Image Set rotator as the prob module in my current site, turn it off and problem gone. However I really want to use it... Is there a script mod that I can make to allow me to not disable?? Shape5 guys - any ideas?

Cheers
G.

Hello, there was an update for this a few weeks ago. Please download the module from the downloads area and over-write the files mod_s5_image_set_rotator.php and s5_image_set_rotator.js with the new ones in the zip file. You will not loose any data during this process. This will ensure that you have the newest version installed. If the error is still occurring please post a url.
