I am having trouble getting my center position on the hone page to flow across user2 and user3. I want a look like the shape5 page:
http://www.shape5.com/demo/new_architect/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=14&Itemid=49
where the topic takes, from the left position to the right position. I only have one topic posted on my home page so I just can't figure what's going on.
http://sunrisedesignstudio.com is the home page I am referencing.

that looks more like a joomla formatting issue. How do you have the leading article set in your menu Parameters?

Check the basic parameters and of the menu and make sure they are set to "1" for leading.

What you should be more concerned with however is how your user 3-7 modules look in IE 8 - that's a bigger issue.
