Sorry but new to all of this.  Love the template and had no problem loading it.  My problem is with the site shaper.

I've extracted it but I'm lost as to the rest of the tutorial.  I use Host Gator for my server space.

Please Help

Hello, can you please be more specific. What area of the install are you having trouble? Are you receiving any error messages?

No error messages, downloaded the template with no problem and it shows up with only the text on the front page.  I then went into C-panel of the server company I use and created a new database in the Mysql Databases section.  Created a new database as said in the tutorial.

I downloaded the site shaper into a new folder in the file for the site I'm wanting to use the template and then extracted it's contents.

I don't know where to go to navigate to the url where I extracted the site shaper and do the following.

Did I do right by putting the site shaper in the C-panel of my server or should it have gone to my joomla admin?

Thanks for any help.

Hello, sounds like you're on the right track. Once you've extracted the site shaper zip file on to your server all you need to do is access your sites domain with a browser. Your domain would be whatever domain you setup with your hosting company. By accessing the domain it will immediately take you to the installation screen.

I must be doing something wrong, I've typed in my domain name for this site www.usafootballcoachesnetwork.com and it shows me the joomla template.

I've even had my host provider help me with the install but I can't get to the final part to set up done going to the url.

I'm sorry for being so lost..

Your site is given a forbidden error. As long as you have uploaded the zip file to the folder and then in cpanel extracted the contents of the zip file to that folder, once you access your domain it will show the installation screen. Make sure you're using the site shaper and not the template zip file.

I feel I've done that.  I even had someone from my ISP help me do it.  I see the site shaper in the file, I guess I'm not sure I have it in the right file then.

Hello, if you can private message me:

1. cpanel access
2. your mysql username and password
3. database name
4. url of your site

I can look into this for you.

Hello Mike,  I was able to get help from my server provider and found out that I had installed the file in the wrong folder.  I've now done the install process but don't see the site shaper changing the template. What else am I missing here.  Thanks for the help.
