Hello

I currently have News Link template - I'd like to change to Sportopolis.
I installed just the Sportopolis template (without siteshaper) and made it the default - but I couldn't access any of the new module positions or the new modules, although they have been defined in the template xml file. I'd appreciate any suggestions to fix my problem. Do I need to install the new modules separately?

Thanks!

Hello, if you're referring to modules that are shown on the Sportopolis demo, no they do not come with the template. You would need to download them separately from the Sportopolis download area.

Thanks for the prompt response. If I download the new modules, such as Live Search and New S5 News Display module will I be able to use the new positions such as  top_1, top_2,above_body_1,above_body_2,bottom_row_one_1 etc?
My main problem was that when I set the Sportopolis template as default I expected to see the new positions in the "Select Position" drop down menu in Module Manager but I still had the old module positions only.

Do I need to do anything special to get the new positions? The templateDetails.xml file under the sportopolis template folder did have these positions defined.

Thanks!

Hello, as long as you have it set as your default menu the positions should show in the drop down. You may want to install a site shaper in a temporary directory so you can see how the modules were setup on the demo. It may help you as you setup the modules on your site.
