I have set up modules in right side column but can't get them to centre. They spill off the right hand side of the module frames. I have reset the width so it is wider than the modules and tried centring all the images in the modules and cant think of anything else to do.

I would like the modules to be centred in their frame. Could anyone please tell me how to achieve this?

Hi, a few things: first the images are too wide; you'll need to lessen the width or you will have problems in IE. On the second image "Robyn Frances" you have a float:left on it, remove that or it will cause overflow problems.

The easiest way to center any element is to remove your left and right margins and add:

margin-left: auto; margin-right:auto;

As long as you do that they will center.

thanks for your help. I apologise for being so dumb, but I can't find where to make the adjustments you suggest. In the modules I dont seem to have any options to change margins?

where do i make the adjustments you suggest?

thank again

I would recommend turning off the editor to do this. You can turn it off by going to global configuration and set the editor to none. On each image you will see a style="" The adjustments I mentioned go in this style section of each image.

Hi Mike, thank you for all your help

I have done all you suggested, including reducing the size of the images, but the 3 modules consistently align to the right.

any other ideas why that may be?

thanks again
