Hello, sounds like there is an issue with your server running Joomla. I found the following posts on Joomla.org that might help you: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=471&t=271847Also, make sure that all of your folders are writable under Help/System Info/Directory Permissions.

ok installed the site sharper and get this now after I remove the installation file from joomla Is this the same problem with a database version?
jtablesession::Store Failed DB function failed with error number 1146 Table 'dbabb.jos_session' doesn't exist SQL=INSERT INTO `jos_session` ( `session_id`,`time`,`username`,`gid`,`guest`,`client_id` ) VALUES ( 'd3jgciss67a5uo2g80f4eth152','1251301271','','0','1','0' )

Hello, sounds like something went wrong during the installation. The easiest fix would be:
1. In phpmyadmin drop all the existing tables on the database 2. Download the sql dump from the downloads area 3. Import the sql dump into the same database as #1
This will drop all your tables and re-import the tables from the demo.

i get same error(s). still not able to do the SQL dump - any ideas? i use bluehost.com for hosting. never had any probs before in 8 yrs ive been with them.
i have exported original template sql doc. dropped tables, imported new Emma Smooth SQL doc and i get this error: jtablesession::store failed DB function failed with error number 1146 Table 'nostalh0_jml01.joom_session' doesn't exist SQL=INSERT INTO `joom_session` ( `session_id`,`time`,`username`,`gid`,`guest`,`client_id` ) VALUES ( 'a03314990f0472f4e5d1546e37f7491f','1252556653','','0','1','1' )
could this have something to do with the wording of "joom_session" and "jos_session" ?

an update:
i changed all the entries that referred to joom_" " to jos_" " and that fixed the errors.
BUT NOW I CAN'T LOG IN TO THE ADMIN!! i tried admin/admin {{as suggested in tutorials}} - no luck i've edited and edited the sqL files to reflect admin/admin {{as suggested in tutorials}} - no luck i've put in my usual user/pw using the myPhpadmin from my control panel - no luck i've edited the sqL files to reflect my usual user/pw combo - no luck. i've even tried deciphering the hex values for my password that's embedded in the sql - no luck there.
what gives!!?? this is not a good start for a new customer that just paid $225 for your services!!

Hello, if you are working off the sql dump the user name and password is admin/admin, I have just tested this with a fresh installation of the sql dump. If you have used the site shaper the username is password is created by you on the last step of the installation. If you have forgotten your username and cannot login you can always rest your password by editing the admin user on the jos_users table and change the password to:
7b1b57ad3d5bfbe54081f559b33211b0:sNRyEEswtjtdoU5AHPKlL0wqhgBqeutR
This is a hex value for "admin"

i just re-imported a fresh SQL dump - and used admin/admin and now i get the error that says "you do not have access to the administrator section of the site"
and i accessed joom_users to paste in hex value and it didnt work either {{ i had to rename jos_users to joom_users -- see above string }}
same error - you don't have access to admin sxn of site

i've attached a screen shot of myPhpadmin to show that the hex value is in there and that it's set to Super Admin

Hello, I was able to install the site shaper with no errors on your site with the joom_ table prefix.
Before I did the site shaper I noticed your jos_users table was completely missing from the database, it is included in the sql dump. Also, you had your configuration.php set to 444, you cannot set a file to these settings or the server will not be able to read it. The correct setting is 644.
