Hi,

I installed 3 different gallery components Phoca Gallery, Joom Gallery and Zoom Gallery. They look perfect with Firefox but when i try to open the gallery in IE7 and IE6 i get an error and it gets closed. Then i changed the template to Beez and opened the gallery in IE6 and IE7 and it works well. So i guess the Emma Smooth is not compatible with any of these gallery components. My url is http://www.heshans.com/ (the gallery is linked to the main menu item "Tattoo Gallery")

Url of the gallery - http://heshans.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=114&Itemid=26

Any way of making emma smooth work with these gallery components ?

cheers

Hello, these would be issues with the components. The template has no control over the javascript of a component. You would need to contact these developers to have this resolved.

The only thing that you might be able to do is disable the lytebox and tooltips scripts in the template's configuration. These sometimes interfere with other javascripts that use window.onload commands.

Hi,

Im not quite farmiliar with editing or disabling the lytebox and tooltips scripts. So how do i do it?
is there any option in joomla to edit the coding of a component ?? So i can edit that instead of the template.

Hello, you can disable these in the template's configuration screen. Go the template manager page and click on emmasmooth and that will bring you to the configuration page, the options are at the bottom of that page.
