You have to create a module and then publish it to one of the s5 tab show module positions that you add to your xml file as described at the above URL you posted.

Ok, thanks, but  Sorry if this question appears silly but I don't know how to do it, how do you create a module that links to an article ?

Let me be more specific:

Here is what it says about how to configure the tab show:

http://shape5.com/demo/city_portal/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=46&Itemid=105

Joomla 1.5 new module positions setup. Here's how you do it:

    * Open up the XML file included with the template you are using

=> OK

    * Locate the <positions> area

=> OK

    * Start adding new positions <position>s5_tab1</position> <position>s5_tab2</position>, etc all the way up to s5_tab10.

=> OK

    * Continue adding s5_tab_2, s5_tab_3 in the next fields up to s5_tab_10

=> Not Ok, What field are we talking about ??

    * Click the save button in the upper right hand corner and you're done!

=> OK, what's with the previous step ?

    * NOTE: For the S5 Tab show version 2 do the following steps but instead of: s5_tab_1,, s5_tab_2 you will need to enter the tabs as follows with a "c": s5_tabc_1, s5_tabc_2, etc

Ignore that continue adding part it was a copy paste error.  You just need to do the step above it

The tab show allows for modules to be published to it, that is why  you added those module positions to your template XML file.  So not just publish any type of module to one of those positions (starting with the first one s5_tab_1).

Thanks but that doesn't make it any clearer to me.

Your are talking position and module but how am I supposed to connect it to an article (my website is multilingual I need use articles)

Let me put it this way: WHERE is the text contained in this tab module ? it is not an article but it must be somewhere, right ?

http://www.itactiques.com/ndesp/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=66&Itemid=164&lang=en

by the way the module is published in the position "right" I can't make it to appear anywhere else (the position "s5tab1" has no effect on my page, it doesn't show up)

If you want actual articles from the content section of your site to show in one of the tabs you'll have to grab a news module and then publish the news module to one of the s5 tab module positions.  If not they content won't by dynamically pulling from your Joomla content areas and you'd have to manually edit text via custom html modules you create and publish to the tab show.

I thinks I see what you mean.

In the module manager I have to choose "New" in order to create a new module...I'll try that but how do you set the appearance of the tab the size, the color, image behind I can't believe the only settings are in mod_s5_tabshow where else can I control my tab  ? I want to have the same effect as here: http://www.shape5.com/demo/elegance/

By any chance are you planing to release a new module like the one you have on your homepage which seesms to be able to display articles with a slide "effect"
