Hello Mike and Jonah,

I'm just getting started with Spheredocs and I do have basic CSS and HTML experience. I would like to make two small changes to the template.

1. How do I replace the tool button with a permanent search input field while maintaining the template's fixed width?

2. How do I change the font-size and italicized lettering of the banner positioned text?

Thank you,

Dan

p.s. After test driving over 1500 Joomla templates for the past three weeks, Spheredocs is the the cleanest, quickest, and most versatile template on the web. Thanks for an excellent template!

Hello Dan,

1.  To remove the tool button look for the following and delete in your index.php file:

Code:
<div id="s5_toolbutton">
<a onclick="showtools();" href="javascript:;"><img width="75" height="22" border="0" alt="Tools" src="templates/spheredocs/images/tools.gif"/></a>
</div>

Then look for:

Code:
<div style="height: 30px; padding-bottom: 28px; display:none;" id="stretchinner">

and change the display to block instead of none.

2. You can change that here:

template_css.css (line 943

Code:
#s5_topright {
float:right;
height:90px;
overflow:hidden;
padding-bottom:5px;
padding-top:5px;
width:50%;
}
