S5 Map It With Google

This tutorial will explain how to install and configure the S5 Google Map It module.

The Map it with Google module gives you 2 modes. The first mode simply shows 4 text boxes with a submit button. A user would enter their address and when they hit submit they would be taken to Google.com/maps and given directions to the address you enter in the admin of the module. The second mode shows an actual Google map on your site with a marker. A user simply clicks the marker and they are prompted with a popup box to get directions. Clicking "Get Directions" will take you to google maps with your business address already entered so all they have to do is enter their address to get directions.

Note - Many of our club products contain specific styling for our extensions. These styles cannot be transferred from one product to another; they are integrated into the design. The same extension is used on all installations, the themes themselves contain the styling overrides. If a particular theme does not include unique styling for a particular extension, then the default style is used.

Be sure to read the tooltips and other descriptions in the backend of this extension. There are a lot of tips and further information found in these areas.
